FAQ

1. Who is TAC Index?
TAC Index in a Nutshell
TAC Index is headquartered in Hong Kong and has been operating since 2010. The company publishes historical general air cargo pricing indices, sourced primarily from actual freight forwarder transactions, and supported by expert panelists. Working in collaboration with the Baltic Exchange, TAC Index is the most financially compliant and accurate source of data for ILA agreements, benchmarking, and general risk management in air cargo.
The company also publishes TAC Space, which tracks via satellite over 84,000 commercial flights daily, showing multiple route options for cargo delivery to any global destination and cargo capacity movements. New routes can be researched and established; new carriers discovered; and the supply chain generally optimized.
The company’s data are all available for subscription, and in certain cases, data exchanges may also occur.
